Nyx was a priss. She's that one mare you dread to see; pushy, thinking she deserves to be first in line for everything, picking fights with the other mares for water trough rights, picking fights with people when she didn't get what she wanted, a downright brat. Bred for dressage, the spoiled mare had an impressive pedigree filled with the best studs to produce the finest champion. And fine she was.
Standing at a reasonable 16.2 hands high, the mare was lean with a strong back end and a fine front. Bred at another establishment, she was brought home as a three year old and immediately presented her disposition with a stomp of her hoof and an unwanted treat bag thrown to the floor. She was fawned over in the beginning, her refined conformation and floaty gaits making her stand out from the other horses. She was brought up not too shortly after that, and excelled under saddle.
As Lailah said earlier, the day presented to be cursed. Nyx had bombed almost all of her test, being uncooperative with everything firmly asked of her. The only part of the test Nyx was compliant with was her collected trot on a ten meter circle, and that was shoddy at best. A-Yeong fought her best with the mare and exited the ring with her best neutral face she could muster.
"What a brat, A-Yeong. So sorry you had to handle this hot mess today," Allison spoke with an apologetic face. Nyx tried to nip at the blonde trainer as they walked back to their temporary stabling and Allison batted her face away. "I didn't realize she'd be this bad today, but I was proven wrong and I apologize. I'll treat you to dinner tonight?" Allison smiled, trying to get A-Yeong back into a positive mood. The student rider sighed, and muttered under her breath, hopping off the mare.
"실망... Sure, Allison. I'd love that!"
