Welcome to the blog of Sirenia Bay Equestrian. We focus mainly on Baroque horses and their crosses, but have other breeds as well and compete in a wide range of disciplines.

LOCATION
Sirenia Bay Lucky Palms 
These stories and pictures are set mainly in the equestrian community of Sirenia Bay, and surrounding areas. Being equestrian focussed communities there are many different establishments devoted to horses in the area. This time I won't be focussing on one specific barn or family, but showing pictures and stories from different places in the region.
There are two main locations.
Sirenia Bay is a sub-tropical coastal town, and makes an ideal destination for equestrian travel, whether for competition or for a holiday. There are competition facilities for many disciplines in the town itself and most of the regions larger competitions are held here. There are also a few breeding and training operations permanently based here.
Lucky Palms is located 250 km inland from Sirenia Bay, and is an arid town. This is where the Waterman family from my previous album reside with their horses. There are several stables here and local competitions are hosted, but more advanced competitors mostly travel to Sirenia Bay for the larger competitions.

Breeds
The main breeds we focus on are Baroques and their crosses including Andalusians, Lusitanos, Aztecas and Criollos. Pintabians and Gypsy Vanners are also growing in popularity and there are several other breeds represented, so we have quite a mixed group here.

Disciplines
Disciplines are also varied. Dressage is the most popular, but there are also western, saddleseat and harness disciplines, as well as Working Equitation and Vaulting.

Seraida is the first of our new horses on the dressage team. She is a young Lusitano mare and was acquired from @Marina-Davia in exchange for a breeding to our champion dressage mare Sabana Rocio. Seraida is proving to be a very elegant young lady in the ring.

The next horses joining our team are two Criollo colts purchased at auction from @Cat-Shepherd. It was love at first sight! The chestnut is Westen's Last Stand. He will be joining the Working Equitation team. The roan is Westen's Hot Spot and he'll be competing in both Mountain Trail and Western Dressage (not 100% decided on both yet).
