Change to Member Registration

    Hello everyone,

    We have made some changes to the new member registration process on Equus. In the past, new members were required to create an account on the main site prior to creating a forum account. However, we have discovered that this method does not allow for staff to easily communicate with new members who are struggling with their registration.

    Due to this, we will now require for a forum account to be created first. Once the member’s forum account has been approved, they will be able to create a main site account. The general instructions for new member registration will be updated to reflect these changes. In addition, for members that are returning to Equus and have lost access to their original main site account, please send a forum message to Elsie Spectre for assistance.

    This change will come into effect on the 1st of July.
