Is there a registry for this cross? Any breeding guidelines? Or is it just a popular cross?
There is a registry, but the site isn't working. There is this PDF document of the characterization of the ponies of Brazilian breed through linear measures:
For some reason that pdf isn't loading... Do you have another link? Do you know if there is any active registry at the moment? One of the requirements to add a breed is that it has some sort of registry so we can look up some of the information we need. For instance, I need to know what sort of outcrossing is allowed and what percentages etc are preferred.
"My favourite breed/strain is not on the list. Can it be added?
To get a new breed added, start a thread titled [New Breed: Breed Name]
Must be a real life breed with some kind of registry
Must not already be covered by an existing breed on Equus unless you can demonstrate the distinction between them and the value of adding the new one
Must have some distinguishing characteristics"
I found the facebook of ABCCPonei (Brazilian Associationof Breders of Pony Horse):
I'll try to talk to them about outcrosses and other information if needed
And here is another link to the pdf:
