Bellinge | Barn Tour, Part II | Feb 10th

  • I imagine you've got some spare stalls right? :p Because I'm moving in! Those facilities are breath takingly gorgeous <3 The arena's are just superb, I'd love to train my horses in there!

  • Parking lots are so damn satisfying, man. I rate this parking lot 10/10 suitable for cars. :truck:

I do have some spare stalls actually, at least now that I'm adding finishing touches to the guest barn! Maybe you should indeed come over ;) Thanks for commenting Shea!

Thank you! This is the best review a parking lot could possibly get.

  • The Oldies

Alright, time for some action again! I know you all like seeing those pretty ponies, so I figured it'd be a good time to post some horse photos. First up are the oldies, by which I mean the horses that have been around a long time. You might even recognize them from a few years ago. Or not.

    alt text
First we have here AHR Neptune, whom I hope at least some of you know. He's a true oldie, he's been around for five years (and still going strong!), competed in show jumping, sired a lot of lovely Hanoverians and graded Premium Stallion. Besides, he's just the loveliest shade of bay that I know.

    alt text
Next up, DEC Black Criminal aka Pablo! He's another Hanoverian stallion that competes in show jumping. I'm hoping he'll throw some gorgeous babies once he reaches the maximum title.

    alt text
This guy is Max, formally known as WR Rohirrim's Maksimilian. He's an Anglo-Arab and the only horse I have left from the times I still bred Arabians on a small scale. He is half Arab and half TB with the TB being more prominent in him, especially in the show ring. The Arabian blood mostly shows in his manners when he's trotting around the pasture with his ears curved and tail up high.

    alt text
Limited Edition aka Ella is my very own foundation FWB. She's the sweetest mare there is, super cuddly and easy-going.

    alt text
WR Joie De Vivre, or as friends call her, Joya, is Ella's first foal who was originally going to be sold but I simply couldn't part with her. She has inherited her dam's sweet character, but is definitely more playful - hence the name!

    alt text
CDC Viola has a long history with me as well. She has once returned to her breeder @Erin-Ward, but is now back with me to hunt some more titles in eventing and show jumping! I have great expectations for this mare, she has just incredible potential and great work ethic.

    alt text
Last but not least, another daughter! WR/ZA November Rain or just Nova is sired by Neptune. She was originally a breeding request and has been owned by a few different people, but after I spotted her a while back in the reclaimable horses again I decided I don't want to reclaim or have her returned to me anymore. She has found her forever home at Bellinge, and I don't mind since she's always been one of my favorite Neptune babies. She has successfully competed in show jumping, and will keep competing until she is fully titled!

I knew you would haha! Some of them have had little makeovers, but they're all still going strong.

  • Independence Day

Finland celebrated its 101st Independence Day yesterday and in honor of that, I've got something very Finnish for you: Finnhorses in the snow!

  • The Newbies

You've seen the oldies, it's time to take a look at our newer additions.

This flashy guy id Sands of Fire REC, a Hanoverian stallion I got from @Breanna-Fahnestock a little while ago. He competes in eventing and show jumping, and will surely have some gorgeous and successful offspring once he's done in the show ring.

    alt text
Next up, a beautiful Knabstrupper mare Prima Volta, or simply Prim. Since Bellinge is located in Denmark, there just had to be a lovely spotted Knabby. Prim competes is eventing and show jumping, just like many of my other horses. One day she'll hopefully be the foundation mare of a Knabstrupper breeding program.

This girl is my future hope in eventing ans show jumping! She is a daughter of the World Champion VS Despina, a granddaughter of VS Otello, a great-granddaughter of Don Rigoletto and a great-great-granddaughter of SSE Winter Is Coming. On top of that, she also carries some renowned MSE and RDEC lines thanks to her sire, SW Vatt'ghern and @Luke-Teth. Her name is Bellinge's Alegra, and I can't wait for her to conquer the arenas and cross country courses!

  • Otello's granddaughter :heart_decoration: He was one fabulous horse, glad to see his lines still being cherished!

  • oooo Prim is so pretty! I love her little spotty nose.

  • Alegra! What a beautiful daughter Victor threw. She'll take you far for sure! :blue_heart: :green_heart:

I know right! She's still a rising star but I'm sure she'll eventually rule the show rings :trophy:

  • Freyja

Introducing to you, our new Fjord mare Freyja! We got her for the Random Breed Creation Challenge, and she competes in Mountain Trail. She's our stable manager Tilda's personal mount. I decided to get out of my comfort zone and go a bit artsy with the whole entry. We'll see if I'll keep up with this new style. I'm quite happy with the result nevertheless!

The moment Tilda opened her eyes that morning, she had a gut feeling it was going to be her day. She wasn't one to trust tiny tickling sensations in the back of her head, but something about the way light sifted through dusty windows in the barn and the way air smelled that day had her caught in the feeling. Freyja had greeted her with a courteus nicker and a nod, as if they hadn't seen just ten hours earlier. Tilda could've counted the times she had sat on Freyja's back with just her fingers, and maybe some toes, but the hearty mare still felt more like a trusted old friend than a horse she just got. When the pair reached the top of the hill, Tilda glanced over the view opening on their left side and breathed it in before turning back downhill. At the bottom of the hill they went down the bank of a pond with a splash. As the sturdy mare navigated her way among the rocks, Tilda listened to the sound of water and watched small ripples glimmer in the sunlight. She knew Freyja wouldn't let her down that time either.

  • this is perhaps the most beautiful photo set I've ever seen on Equus. You did an incredible job with the angles and the colors. I love it.
