Figuring out genotypes
I'm planning to create a bunch of new horses for my stables and I think I need a hand figuring out some genotypes... I will be so so thankful for all help!
- Seal brown
- Smoky cream
- Greying buckskin
Thank you all in advance!
I uses this one https://www.animalgenetics.us/Equine/CCalculator1.asp
I also use this to find out genotypes: jenniferhoffman.net/horse/horse-color-genetics.html
A combo of this and the one above is super helpful, especially if i can't visualize the coat in my head!
(the ones i know off the top of my head;
Seal brown tends to be something like EeAtA
Palomino would be eeAanCr or
Greying Buckskin: EeAaGgnCr)
ETA Smoky cream; EeaaCrCr
If you are lazy like me you search 'WPW' on the main site and find a horse with the colour you are looking for (seriously, I swear their is one of every colour) and 'take inspiration' from it's prefix because they are generally all correct (sorry puck)
Thank you so much guys, I appreciate the help
Oh shoot, I should read thoroughly, it's already linked
I love using this.
